The Adrenal Gland sits right on top of the kidneys. They help regulate your immune system, metabolism, stress response, and blood pressure. 

Here are a few signs your adrenal glands might be overwhelmed: 

1) Craving salt
2) Morning fatigue/more awake at nighttime
3) Abdominal weight gain
4) Lightheaded
5) Blood sugar imbalance
6) Low blood pressure
7) Anxiety
8) Difficulty healing/frequently being sick

What can cause adrenal glands to be overwhelmed? 

Chronic Stress, emotional trauma, nutritional deficiencies, bacterial infections, thyroid issues, pituitary issues, poor lifestyle habits, physical trauma & injury. 

How to help our adrenal glands: 

1) Get more sunlight
2) Spend more time in nature
3) Drink more electrolytes
4) Low intensity exercise
5) Eat a balanced diet with protein, fat, carbs
6) Cut down on caffeine and sugar
7) Take time to rest
8) Reduce stress
