Foods that reduce inflammation

How can you help your body reduce its overall inflammation?

We have many foods we can consume in our diet that will help our bodies stay healthy, reduce inflammation and keep us nourished.

Below are some foods that will help you reduce the inflammation in your body and help heal your gut.

1) Pineapple- contains an ingredient called bromelain. Bromelain helps to breakdown extra proteins in the blood, which helps fight inflammation. This an also be helpful to recover from injuries and joint pain. 

2) Blueberries- blueberries are high in an antioxidant called quercetin. This helps protect the body against free radicals. Blueberries also help promote good gut bacteria. 

3) Broccoli- this vegetable contains a powerful called sulforaphane which detoxifies harmful chemicals that can cause inflammation.

4) Tumeric- consists of a compound call curcumin which is known to be one of the best natural anti inflammatory drugs.

5) Celery- antioxidants, flavones, and flavanols which are natural substances that can help reduce inflammation.

6) Ginger- reduces inflammation on a cellular level. Can easily be added into meals.
